The Pink High Heel: D.I.Y.: purple clutch

Alcuni giorni fa avevo comprato un pezzo di cotone viola. Dopo aver visto l'idea del blog "Style Scrapbook", ho pensato di provare a fare la stessa cosa con questo pezzo di cotone.

Some days ago I had bought a piece of purple cotton. After I've saw the "Style Scrapbook" blog's idea, I thought to try to do the same thing with this piece of cotton.

Ho piegato perfettamente in due parti la stoffa (attenzione a far coincidere la parte ripiegata con la base della borsa). Con una matita ho tracciato il contorno della scatola.

I perfectly folded in two parts the cotton (pay attention to coincide the folded part with the bag's base). With a pencil I marked the contour of the box.

Dopo, l'ho tagliato

After, I've cut it.

Poi ho preso il pezzo rimanente di stoffa e ho fatto di nuovo la stessa cosa. Ma questa volta ho avuto cura di non tagliare il cotone esattamente sulla linea tracciata, ho lasciato 2cm dal bordo (questo secondo pezzo di cotone è necessario per irrigidire la clutch).

Next I took the remaining piece of cotton and I made another time the same thing. But this time I took care to don't cut the cotton exactly on the marked line, I left 2cm from the border (this second piece of cotton is necessary for stiffen the clutch).

Ho messo un pezzo dentro l'altro (il più grande nel più piccolo)

I put one piece into the other (the bigger into the smaller)

e ho piegato il bordo superiore (del pezzo più grande di stoffa, quello interno) verso l'esterno.

and I folded the upper contour (of the bigger piece of cotton, the insider) toward the outer.

Ho fermato la cerniera con degli spilli e sono andata da un sarto per far cucire i due lati e la cerniera.
Mi dispiace ma non ho una macchina da cucire! :D

I stitched the zipper with some pins and I went to a tailor to sew the two sides and the zipper.
I'm sorry but I don't have a sewing machine! :D
